Privacy Policy

Black Tie Agents is a brand of Hai Ventures LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731 ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect through blacktieagents.ai, our phone numbers, and the text-message and lead-response services we operate for local businesses, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, business, phone number, email, and anything you write in a form, email, or text message.
• Call and message records: when you call or text a number we operate, we receive your phone number, the time, call duration, whether the call was answered, and the content of text messages. If a business we serve enables voicemail, we store the recording.
• Appointment details: the service you ask about, the service address you provide, and the time you book.
• Website data: basic request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to keep the site working.

How we use it

• To respond to you, answer your questions, and schedule and remind you about appointments you request.
• When we operate a phone number for a local business, to text back callers whose call that business missed, pass your request to that business, and show that business its own conversations.
• To operate, secure, and improve our services, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

Text messaging

We collect your mobile number when you call us, submit a form, or text us, and use it only to respond to you, schedule appointments, and send related reminders. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as our messaging carrier) acting on our behalf to deliver messages.

Who we share it with

• The business you contacted. If you called or texted a number we operate for a local business, that business sees your messages and appointment details so it can serve you.
• Service providers that run our infrastructure under contract: telephone and messaging (Twilio), hosting (Cloudflare), and language-model processing used to draft replies (OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Automated assistant

Some text replies are written by an automated assistant that works only from information the business has approved. It identifies itself as automated when asked, and a person can take over any conversation.

Retention and security

We keep conversation and appointment records for as long as the business we serve keeps its account with us, or up to 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law. Records are stored with access controls and encrypted in transit.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@blacktieagents.ai. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
